Primary Job Function:
To provide maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of commercial and residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards while providing the customer with a high-quality experience. Provide feedback to Service Manager regarding training needs, inventory, etc.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Install, service, diagnose and repair HVAC Systems
- Work on call to service orders that come in
- Go into commercial and residential properties to service HVAC Systems
- Basic knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings
- Start up and troubleshoot furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps and condensing units
- Understanding of line and low voltage wiring, relays, transformers, wiring diagrams
- Willing to further knowledge of the HVAC industry
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams and blueprints
- Be familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience making repair and replace decisions
- At least 2 years of HVAC experience (Negotiable for the right candidate)
- Must have valid Driver’s License
- Advanced customer service skills
