This new facility in Sioux City, the Siouxland Expo Center, has 80,000 square feet of Arena space and is home to many different events. This brand new building hosts trade shows, public exhibitions, 4H, farm and tractor shows, and other large community events. There is turf available for soccer and softball/baseball during indoor seasons, and even wedding packages for both the ceremony and reception. There is space for four hundred vendor booths total. It is also conveniently located right off of Interstate I-29 and close to many hotels and attractions in downtown Sioux City, Iowa.
Our commercial team installed ten rooftop units that were 6,000,000 BTU’s of heat and 8,000 MBH of cooling, as well as 80,200 CFM of airflow. These rooftop units were 54,075 pounds each. In addition, there are two rooftop energy recovery units. Inside the building is eight hundred liner foot of fabric duct. The destratification fans in the arena creates uniform air temperatures from ceiling to floor for ideal comfort and energy savings up to 25% in the cooling season and up to 35% in the heating season.
